The color images of the Armenian landscape, dotted with churches, monasteries, monuments, and natural wonders, presented here were photographed on eight visits during 2003 - 2008. Photographs from the Armenian Republic of Nagorno-Karabagh (Artsakh) are also included here. Black and white landscape photographs from Armenia and Nagorno-Karabagh are included here. Gikor's Spring, Dsegh Village - This spring features in Hovannes Tumanian's Gikor, who takes a last drink from the village spring before leaving the village. Photographed May 28, 2006.
Zangakatun Lake Revisited - This lake, first photographed during my October, 2004 visit, had swelled from the melting snow. Only the tops of submerged reeds showed, but Mt. Ararat was more clearly visible. Photographed May 31, 2006.

Clearing Storm, The Southern Peak of Mt. Aragats - Minutes before, rain and hail threatened to wash away the only photographic opportunity. Then, as if by miracle, the sky cleared, and the rays of the Sun, low on the horizon by now, illuminated the southern peak of Mt. Aragats. Photographed September 28, 2005.
