Geghart Monastery Interior - Geghart (or Geghard) Monastery (12th Century), in the Kotayk Region of Armenia, is an architectural wonder as parts of it are carved out of the cliff. The interior of this portion gets its light from small holes in the ceiling and from candles lit in prayer. Photographed June, 2003.
