A Sunset Anemone
Montaña de Oro State Park is named for the golden cliffs that drench themselves in amber and gold as the Sun rushes to meet the waters of the Pacific Ocean. In one corner of the park, hidden below a series of majestic bluffs, the tide pools of Corallina Cove, teeming with anemones, hermit crabs, and mussels, await the high tide that is still hours away... Photographed April 2020.
